South Coast Artists Open Studio Tour
For two weekends this summer about 75 artists from the four surrounding towns of the Westport & Dartmouth, MA and Tiverton & Little Compton, RI open their studios to visitors. I have been an artist on this tour for about sixteen years now---and I love it! Come by and say hi, I'd love to see you!

I have 2 oil paintings on display in US Embassy in Beijing in the private residence of Ambassador Nicholas Burns and his wife Libby Baylies (seen above flanking entranceway).
My artwork was personally selected by Nick and Libby with the invitation to participate in the Art in the Embassies program through the US State Dept., which promotes American art and artists in the US embassies throughout the world.
Included with the exhibition are both a published exhibit brochure and a full catalogue, which are given to all guests and dignitaries of the Embassy. The paintings are on loan through the entire tenure of Ambassador Burns.

Most summers I spend a week on Nantucket as an Artist-in-Residence at the Carlisle House Inn, N.Water Street, Nantucket. This is a great, cozy, beautiful inn which I highly recommend! The owner Jeneane Life is wonderful!
During my stay on the island I anticipate doing many small plein air paintings and collecting lots of new material for future studio paintings. Can't wait!
